Greeting Cards

Cardsters, a non-traditional greeting card company, weaving a visual identity rooted in the artistry of illustration. Initially conceived as a cover design project, the vision expanded to include the meticulous hand-drawn interior designs of each card, ensuring a cohesive and authentic aesthetic from front to back. From the cover to the inside of the card, a consistent hand-made feel transitioned seamlessly into a digitized aesthetic, amplifying the emotional impact of each greeting.

The initial approach was the seamless fusion of image, text, and aesthetics, with a focus on effectively communicating the essence of occasions such as 'Play Outside Day' and 'Pride Month' through the medium of packaging labels. Through a process of cutting and pasting from a diverse array of scrap materials and construction paper, abstract forms began to emerge, capturing the spirit of each holiday with a handmade touch. The transformation continued as the collages were digitized, scanned or photographed to preserve their organic essence.
